Chalcopyrite in this color is typically acid dipped to coat the piece and bring out the bright blues and purples one would see. Due to the coloring schemes, Chalcopyrite is commonly referred to as "Peacock Ore" or "Peacock Rock". This definitely a favorite among younger collectors due to the bright color palettes they commonly offer.
