Cobble Creek: Bismuth Crystals - 1.5" - 2"
Nice colored Bismuth!
Bismuth is a commonly used element and is even the active ingredient in Pepto-Bismol. Bismuth is number 83 on the periodic table. Although, a naturally occurring element, this form of bismuth is not naturally occurring. Chunks of natural bismuth are heated and melted. Upon cooling, the crystal will begin to etch itself during this process. During the cooling, oxidization occurs and thus enhances the colors of the piece. The natural pieces of bismuth come from Peru and are crystalized in a lab here in the USA.
This is for one bismuth crystal in the 1.5" - 2" range.
